The seventh Summer School in this highly successful series will be another stimulating and challenging experience for European scientists beginning their career in the stem cell field. The School provides intensive training on fundamental concepts and contemporary issues in stem cell biology. Leading experts will give an in-depth, week-long programme of lectures, workshops and discussion groups on:
- The biology of stem cells - embryonic, fetal and adult systems
- Plasticity, epigenetic regulation, signaling and nichei
- Clinical applications and clinical trials
- Ethics and patents in stem cell research

The summer school is open to postgraduate research students, postdoctoral researchers, senior researchers, clinical training fellows and technicians from universities, research institutes and industry, working in stem cell biology or related fields.
