Ingo Roeder

Dr. Ingo Roeder is a research fellow at the Institute for Medical Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology (IMISE), University of Leipzig, where he leads the "DYNAmic MOdeling of stem cell organization" group.  He is also a guest scientist at the Department of Computing, Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Dr. Roeder's main research interests are: 

Theoretical / Systems Biology 

  • Theoretical concepts of stem cell organization
  • Mathematical models and computer simulation of stem cell development
  • Application of mathematical models in the context of treatment optimizations with respect to chronic myeloid leukemia or gene therapeutic approaches
  • Mathematical models of transcription factor networks

Biostatistics / Bioinformatics 

  • Analysis of cellular genealogies
  • Linear mixed-effect models
  • Experimental design
  • Mathematical genetics (linkage analysis)
  • Microarray data analyis
