Marco Onorati is a post doctoral researcher in the laboratory of Elena Cattaneo in Milan (Italy). He studies embryonic and neural stem cell biology and their neurogenic potential. In particular, he is focusing on stem cell differentiation into striatal neurons, affected in the neurodegeneration occurring in Huntington’s disease. He hopes that his work will give hope to Huntington's disease patients and their relatives.
