HelMSIC-Athens (Hellenic Medical Students' International Committtee / Local Committee of Athens, Greece) organises the Summer School on Regenerative Medicine, 8-12 Sept. 2010 in Athens (Greece)!

It will take place at the Bioscientific Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) and it is supported by HelMSIC-Greece, EMSA (European Medical Students' Association), IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students' Associations), the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and the NKUA Medical School of Athens. It is kindly sponsored by Paschalidis Medical Publications, the Medical Association of Athens and the 5* Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites (Lindos-Rhodes).

The 40 final participants are going to get insights into the fascinating world of Regenerative Medicine, starting from the fundamental ideas behind its philosophy and reaching more advanced knowledge in the field along with the special lab visits serving the purpose of identifying what it is like to work with stem cells and trying to uncover their mysteries. They will also spend 7 days in Greece, getting to know greek civilisation better and mingle with other med-students from around the world.
