The Stem Celli and Regeneration Thematic Research Program, School of Biomedical Sciences is activity seeking Scientists with experience in stem cells biology and translational medicine.  It is expected that 3-4 positions at the Assistant Professor level will be open for application over the next 2 years.  Successful candidate will receive seed research money, a technician/research assistant and post-graduate students. Candidates studying embryonic and adult stem cells/ips cellsi in cardiac and liver repair are especially welcome.

The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO)'s 2010 call for its International PhD Programme is now open.

The CNIO offers excellent training and research opportunities in cutting edge basic and applied cancer research. Our programme is open to outstanding young graduates from all over the world who want to pursue ambitious research projects.

The CNIO International PhD Programme each year supports 10 candidates for a 4-year PhD.  We have one selection per year. The deadline for applications is 15th March 2010.
