The Bioethics-Clinical Ethics Unit at the University of Marburg in cooperation with the Stem Cell Network North Rhine Westphalia and the Institute of Science and Ethics at the University of Bonn are currently conducting an internet survey on experiences and attitudes of scientists with German citizenship, working in the field of stem cell research in Sweden, UK and the USA.
The main focus of the survey is on researchers working with human embryonic stem cellsi in these countries. However, there is also a more wide-ranging survey of researchers working in all areas of stem cell research in Germany, so German stem cell researchers working on other types of stem cells in the UK, Sweden and the USA are equally invited to participate.
How to participate
To take part in the survey, please send an email to stemcell@staff.uni-marburg.de. The researchers will then send you a code number and the link to the internet questionnaire. The data is confidential and will be anonymised. It will be stored safely on the server of the University of Marburg and can only be accessed by members of the research team.
The researchers hope to obtain representative results that will inform scientists and policy-makers on the situation of stem cell research under German Law.
