Applications are invited for a four-year PhD studentship at University College London (UCL, London, United Kingdom) to work on an exciting translational research project aimed at developing a new strategy for ex vivo gene therapy of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) [1] based upon the combination of Human Artificial Chromosomes [2] and induced Pluripotent Stem (iPS) Cells [3].
