The position

Are you the talented PhD student who will develop new stem cell-based models of inherited heart diseases? You would be part of a team in the Department of Anatomy & Embryology that aims to use cardiomyocytes derived from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) to detect changes caused by genetic mutations . Your studies would involve using cell culture, advanced genetic engineering techniques and microscopic imaging, as well as other electrophysiological methods to tackle this challenge.
