This European stem cell portal is a reference site for the wider European stem cell community.
The site grew out of the European Consortium for Stem Cell Research – a four-year EU-funded project that wound up on 31 January 2008. The researchers involved wanted to ensure that resources developed – for the scientific community and for the public – didn’t just disappear.
A complete archive protects access to the original EuroStemCell website, while this new site highlights some of the most popular and useful resources – like our stem cell films, FAQ and the stem cell database, StemDB. New features include a gallery of stunning stem cell images, commentaries on current developments in stem cell research and a stem cell news feed.
It's easy to get involved and contribute to the site, too.
